ABOUT SAM HILL OIL & SHOCO OIL

WHERE IT ALL STARTED….

Sam Hill Oil Inc. began in 1947 when Sam Hill Sr., an Amoco agent, started his own business as an Amoco Jobber. Later, Sam Hill, Jr. joined and eventually bought the business, moving the company to Brighton, Co. Since then, Sam Hill Oil’s customer base has expanded, opening up several locations, while maintaining the quality customer service for which the company is known.

WHERE WE ARE NOW….

In July 1997, Shoco Oil Inc. was built and began doing business in Commerce City, Co. Shoco Oil is a locally owned petroleum distributor in Colorado in its third generation. Shoco is also Chevron’s Signature Class marketer for Chevron and Texaco Lubricants. In fact, Shoco is one of the largest distributors for Texaco & Chevron products in the Rocky Mountain Region.

Together, Sam Hill Oil & Shoco Oil, maintain a customer base of one thousand customers’ state wide. These include construction, mining, industrial and the private individual. We also provide distribution of the Chevron and Texaco lubricants in Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, and New Mexico.

In May 2006, Scott Hohnstein, president of Shoco Oil, had the forethought to begin a new and exciting division of our companies. It is Rocky Mountain Industrial Solutions. RMIS is an Isoclean Fluid Conditioning Provider for a five state region. RMIS provides Site Assessments, Expert Fluid Analysis, Contamination Control, and System Monitoring.

We are also a diamond distributor for Graco Lubricant Equipment.

Bioblend Lubricants are now available through Sam Hill Oil & Shoco Oil. Bioblend provides products formulated from environmentally responsible chemistries that are produced from renewable resources and designed to assure optimum performance of our customers’ operating systems.

WHAT IS IN THE FUTURE….

It doesn’t stop here.The companies’ vision for the future includes:

• Construction of a new facility encompassing bulk fuel and lube storage, commercial fueling, and lubricant distribution.
• Construction of a new bulk plant and commercial fueling center serving the southern part of the state.
• Expansion of our Isoclean Fluid Conditioning Services division.
• Continuous fleet updates.
